The last post was running a little long, so I’m going to post some of the most memorable IntelliVenice experiences here!
I will be adding more to the list soon!
Here we go! In no particular order!
The Grand Opening Party. Duh.

Seriously, this was a once in a lifetime experience! Seeing the tarp finally come down and the cheers from the crowd? So glad I was there. And once I was inside, from the coffee and tea, to the desserts! Bliss! Also, my introduction to cappuccinos, espressos, and more!

Going to IntelliVenice for the first time since the grand opening party.

I forget what the span of time was between the grand opening party, and their actual grand opening date, but I finally made it back to IntelliVenice in June and took this picture. Which came out funky, but I like it.

Hsiawen’s first visit to Intellivenice!

“Psst! Hsiawen. Tim Styles just made your Angeleno. You know, THE Tim Styles? Gah! Nevermind!”
Who can forget the first time Hsiawen tried Intelligentsia? It was the same day he realized that they didn’t have whipped cream and sprinkles. Which coincided with the day he found out that whipped cream and sprinkles don’t necessarily equal good coffee…

Mike’s first visit to Intellivenice!
Such a magical day when Mike finally visited Intelligentsia Venice. Out of everyone in our circle of friends, he’s probably the most hard core about coffee, and possibly Intelligentsia in general. We are talking about someone that orders coffee beans from them each month, right?

July’s First Friday with the Gang! Including my BFF Ryan!

After not seeing my BFF for far too long, we were able to meet up at Intelligentsia for some wonderful coffee and great conversations! He actually lives only a few blocks away from Abbot Kinney!

August First Friday with the addition of Carrie and Brian!

July FF rocked so hard, that we had to do it again! August FF also marked the first time that Carrie (another hard core Intelli fan that used to order beans online) and her husband Brian visited Intellivenice!

My Birthday Latte

After learning that they were out of ice cream for an affogato, I went with a latte, which was absolutely excellent! This concluded my birthday celebration! There was no better way to do it!

Winning a bag of Black Cat through Twitter!

I have never personally bought or ordered coffee beans from Intelligentsia because I don’t brew at home, but winning this Twitter contest is going to give me the chance to finally do it! Thanks!

Maybe I can take my new BFF Glenn Beck (or GB as I like to call him) there one day.
[...] Anyway, I was greeted by a barista (look at me! I even have the lingo down!) that informed me this was a coffee shop. Yes. I know. She then proceeded to inform us what basic coffee drinks were. What I didn’t like was that I was treated like an ignorant customer that had never been in a coffee shop before. Now, ok, if you have been following my blog you know that I am pretty ignorant when it comes to non-iced coffee, but can we all agree that I’ve been inside a coffee shop before? I know when someone is trying to be friendly, and I appreciate it, but as a teacher, I know there are correct ways of providing information and guidance. I’m assuming these strategies carry over to the coffee business. Wait! Actually, I know this to be true, because I’ve been to Intelli. [...]
[...] As we were at Intellivenice, Ryan was there too, so we got to meet him and talk to him briefly. If you are wondering where the rest of the gang is by this point? Well, we never ended up seeing them again after Border Grill. Thanks to a text later that night, I found out that after we wandered off they couldn’t find us, and ended up calling it a night anyway. Still, a fun time was had by all. This visit will definitely be added to the list of most memorable moments. [...]
[...] even drink coffee unless it is iced and flavored. 90% of my coffee consumption takes place at Intellivenice in the form of an Angeleno while 8% takes place at Intelligentsia Silverlake. The other 2% takes [...]
[...] Intelligentsia fans. There are some of us that actually go all the way to either SilverLake or Venice just to get some Intelligentsia. If you follow my blog or know anything about me, then you know [...]
