I love cupcakes. A lot. Maybe too much. So, when I heard about a legitimate cupcake truck in Los Angeles (besides Sprinkles), I figured it would be right up my alley, amiright?

When I heard that they would be out on Abbot Kinney last night (Halloween) I made my way over (pretty late) hoping by chance they would still be there. Luckily they were, and I headed over to the truck, kinda excited.

They have a temporary menu up, and some of the flavors had already sold out. I should mention that these cupcakes were priced at $3 each. I found out that they bake their cupcakes right on the truck. Very cool, and also, the whole setup was very clean. Plus, the girls that run the truck were incredibly nice! You can see that they are passionate about their cupcakes.

That is why, at this time, I am going to reserve offering my opinion on what I thought about their goods…

This was the banana/chocolate cupcake…

This was the red velvet cupcake…It looks a little squished because I accidentally dropped it. Thankfully it landed on the paper! Phew!

i hate when they put icing up on top like that. you can’t even get at it. It’s like a golf ball resting on top of a baseball.
yeah I said it. Balls, son, balls.
Ahh! Derby! Old friend!
Missed you ‘son!
