Hi! It was so great meeting you in person yesterday! Sorry I couldn’t talk more, but maybe we can meet up again beyond the virtual world =). What did you have at Joan’s? I really enjoy your blog and I hope you are following along to mine too(although it is in its toddler stages).

Just happened to run across your review of Lazy Dog Cafe & fell in love with your site. I haven’t tried the restaurant as of yet. I think I’ll wait till after the first of the year when they start taking reservations. Thanks for your honesty. 8)

So glad to see there actually are other real foodies in SCV. Although, it comes on a day of sadness that our local Bristol Farms is closing. So sad.

Hi,

I just moved to Santa Clarita and found your blog when I was looking for a review on Nick and Joe’s Pizza. I too am always on the hunt for a good cupcake( I’m a baker) and I hate tomatoes( except sauce).

Nick and Joe’s has a new owner( he said he was the son of the previous owner) and I had a slice there yesterday. It was good, but I wasnt impressed by the decor or the salad.

Just came across your blog and loved reading about the love you have for cupcakes! I work at a bakery in valencia(westridge) and its called Lady Di’s Cookies soon to be Lady Di’s Sweet Shop and we specialize in Cookies, and Cupcakes…I must say I am a big fan of our cupakes and im not much of a cupake person. We have many customers that prefer ours over sprinkles so I am curious to see if you have been there and if you haven’t then i would love for you to try us out!!! You wont be dissapointed!! I like your blog and your pictures on Flickr are great. Nicely done…my gf teaches too and just accepted a 2 year contract is Kuwait. Last year was Egypt. Japan, Italy, and Germany before that. Anyway, happy travels and thanks for sharing your adventures.
